Chicken egg production is one of the most popular and economically profitable areas of agriculture, which is facilitated by the natural conditions and climate of Ukraine. This was reported by agroapp, writes agronews.ua.

1. Borki-117

The cross was bred in Ukraine in 1973, but until 1998, scientists continued to improve it, increasing quality indicators. Chickens have a white color and are distinguished by high productivity.

Laying hens can lay eggs even in unfavorable conditions and almost never get sick. Both a cage and vacation housing are suitable for them.

  • Egg weight – up to 75 grams;
  • The color of the eggs is light brown;
  • retention of young people – 96-98%;
  • Puberty – 150-153 days;

Crosses such as Dekalb, Leghorn and Dominant are considered the most tolerable. This is explained by the fact that the crosses are bred specifically to achieve high productivity.

On average, farmers replace flocks every 18 to 24 months to maintain high egg production and egg quality.
