The railway management took the decision to provide facilities to the common people. Train passengers get its benefits. Earlier, after the train service was extended to Banupratpur, tickets were sold here. But later it was discontinued. Due to this, the passengers who traveled from here had to face problems in purchasing tickets. To buy tickets one had to walk 5 km to Gudum or 12 km to Dallirajhara station. Due to this problem, many people had to travel without tickets. But if he was caught, he had to pay five times the fine. At the same time, trains also suffered losses due to many people traveling without tickets. Now since the facility started here, people travel only by taking tickets. More than 50 people travel by train every day from Daundy. Most people go to Balod, Gundardhi, Durg and Raipur. Similarly, from Daundi to Bhanupratappur, Antagarh, Tadoki also travel by train. People from 10 nearby villages, including Daundi, are enjoying the start of ticket sales in Daundi. The fare from Daundi to Raipur is fixed at 35 rupees. Railway ticket manager Bishan Chandrakar said the counter opens half an hour before the arrival of the train and the tickets are sold. Fare from Daundi to Raipur is 35 rupees. A bus ride costs more than 100 rupees. While the fare to Durg is 25 rupees, for Balod it is 10 rupees and for a trip to Gunderdehi it is 20 rupees. There are train facilities at Salhaitula (Daundi) at 5.30 am, 11.30 am from Tadoki to Raipur. The train departs at 14:30.
