Peshawar (Web Desk) People’s Party leader Faisal Karim Kundi was sworn in as the 40th Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Governor’s House Peshawar where Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Ishtiaq Ibrahim administered the oath.
The swearing-in ceremony appeared disorganized. The leaders of the PPP sat on the seats of members of the National Assembly, the bureaucracy of the Centres. Despite repeated announcements, the workers did not seem ready to leave the front of the stage.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also absent from the swearing-in ceremony, two chairs were placed on the stage during the ceremony. After swearing in Faisal Karim Kundi, the governor’s house echoed with the chanting of supporters of the people’s party.
Faisal Karim Kundi said Jayala came to KP Governor’s House after a long time, I will try to play the role of a bridge between KP and the Centre.
Governor KP said that we do not want the Center and the state to have a conflict, and we will reverse gear and bring peace by standing with the security forces, we will also end the financial crisis of the state.
Faisal Karim Kundi further said that we will all fight the cause of the state in a peaceful manner. I invite the provincial government to come together and demand their rights from the center, I will be your lawyer and fight your case in Islamabad, I also invite the prime minister that we want to see the development of this country, not political opposition.
Ghulam Ali took personal leave from the Governor’s House
Ghulam Ali Khasani left the Governor’s House, former Governor Ghulam Ali Khasani moved to his residence.
Haji Ghulam Ali went down to his house on Warsak Road after returning from attending the funeral. Ghulam Ali sent the Governor’s House vehicle and the protocol to the Governor’s House.
