Last week, the foreign exchange reserves of the State Bank increased one billion from 11 million dollars to a total of 9 billion 12 million dollars, while the foreign exchange reserves totaled 14 billion 45 million 89 million dollars.

The State Bank’s foreign exchange reserves have reached two months’ worth of imports.

According to the statement issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, the main reason for the increase in foreign exchange reserves is the 1.1 billion dollars received from the IMF.

At the time, foreign exchange reserves with commercial banks reached 5 billion 3386 million dollars.
