The police have reduced the signal time of four intersections in the western area. Traffic ACP Kiran Sharma said that signal timing has been reduced at the Mhow Naka, Naulakha, IT Park and Yashwant Chowk intersections. The time has been reduced by 11 seconds at Mhow Naka, 8 seconds each at Naulakha and IT Park intersection and 6 seconds at Yashwant Chowk intersection. The soldiers have been told that if the signal is closed during the day and there are no vehicles in that lane, then they should start traffic from the other lane, so that people don’t have to suffer in the heat. The proposal to reduce the signal time was given by MP Shankar Lalwani.
