There is deep grief in the Sindhi literary world over the demise of Shobha Lalchandani, a literary personality and editor of Sindhi weekly newspaper Hindwasi (Mumbai). Respected Sindhi Panchayat Sant Hirdaram Nagar expressed deep sorrow and paid tribute to him. Panchayat President Sabu Reezwani said that Shobha has brought glory to the post of teacher, Shaidai of Sindhiyat, a worshiper of Indus culture. Recently he also became the producer of the Sindhi film Aakhri Train.
