Achi news desk-Bhaskar News The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana has taken a new initiative to increase the voting percentage in the Lok Sabha general elections to be held on May 25 under the sixth phase in Rewari Haryana, in which school students have been involved . Under this initiative, children will encourage their parents to vote this time and after casting their vote on polling day, the selfie with blue ink on the finger of the family voter will have to be uploaded to the portal. Through the district level draw, the first, second and third place winners will get cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500 respectively. DC and District Election Officer Rahul Hooda said that under this initiative, the school whose students upload the most number of selfies in the district will also get a special prize of Rs 25,000. To upload the selfie, a link has been created on www.ceoharyana.gov.in/ portal, which will open on the polling day ie May 25. The link will be activated for uploading selfies along with voting from 7 am onwards, where selfies can be uploaded until 8 pm.
