A prisoner on sentence of robbery in Gwalior prison has escaped by jumping parole. The incident took place in Central Jail Bahodapur. The prisoner had gone from prison on parole 18 days ago. But when the prisoner did not return after his parole expired, the management complained about the matter to the police. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the jail management and have started searching for the escaping prisoner. The police are raiding the places associated with this prisoner in search of him.

Prison guard Karan Singh Jadaun has complained to the Bahodapur police station that Nihal Singh Gurjar, a resident of Bhind, has been sentenced to life imprisonment on July 19, 2022 for the crime of robbery. And he was released on fifteen days parole on March 22, 2024 on a bail of fifty thousand rupees. And he was to return on 6 April. But when he did not return until late at night, we sought his information, but we could not contact him. When he did not return after staying overnight, the prison management was informed. Due to the seriousness of the matter, the jail management gave instructions to register a case against the accused, whereupon the police registered the case and started searching for the absconding accused.
Arrested in a theft case
Prison managers Vidit Sarvaiya said a prisoner who escaped by jumping parole was serving a sentence for robbery. The police have informed the concerned police station for information about the accused.

Bahodapur police station commander Jitendra Singh Tomar says that a case has been registered against the prisoner who jumped parole and is being searched for, the escaping prisoner will be caught soon. Also, information is gathered about the prisoner who escapes.
