Bhaskar Ambikpur News: A villager, who was jailed after being arrested in an illegal liquor case, died under suspicious circumstances. The matter is of Jashpur district. Police said Jagatpal, a resident of Kendrai village in Jashpur district, was admitted to the Medical College Hospital, Ambikpur by the Jashpur jail administration on Friday. Here his health did not improve and he died late Saturday night. Signs of injury were found on the body of the deceased. After we learned about the case, the deceased’s wife and family members arrived at the hospital on Sunday. Seeing signs of injury on his body, his wife Polmatia accused him of assault in prison. The jail staff from Jeshpur brought Jagatpal to Ambikpur Central Jail. Here, after completing the paperwork at the gate, he was directly admitted to the Medical College Hospital from outside. Here, his treatment began under the supervision of a specialist in medicine and psychiatry other than an orthopedic doctor. He was admitted to intensive care. There were signs of injury to the leg, blood was coming out of the ears and mouth. Questions are being raised about Jagatpal’s death as injury marks were found on both his knees.
