ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) spokesperson Haroon Shinwari has said that polling is going on peacefully in all constituencies ahead of the by-elections.
Haroon Shinwari, DG control room monitoring regarding the by-elections in 21 constituencies, said in his statement that the polling procedure is going on peacefully in all the constituencies, so far no complaint has been received in the control room.
According to him, the center has facilities for voters to contact and register their complaints, immediate steps will be taken to rectify the complaint in time.
Haron Shinvari said that the control rooms operate at the district, division and district levels of the Election Commission, people can contact the center staff to register complaints regarding the by-elections.
The spokesman for the election committee added that complaints can also be registered on the dedicated helpline 051111327000, the control room will operate around the clock on the day of the vote and until the results are received, complaints can also be sent via e-mail and fax. Number 0519204404.
