Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Giridih, the police have arrested advocate Awadhesh Kumar Singh, an independent candidate in the Gandey Assembly by-election. This arrest was made on Sunday morning from a residence near Barganda RK Mahila College Road. According to the information, an FIR has been registered against advocate Awadhesh Kumar Singh in connection with the Bengabad police station siege case. He has been arrested in this case.
