For the elections to be held on May 25 in Dhanbad, dispatch centers for EVMs and electoral materials have been made from the Agricultural Market Committee for Sindri, Tundi and Baghmara, Dhanbad Polytechnic for Dhanbad and Jharia and Polytechnic Nirsa for the Nirsa Assembly.

Polling personnel leave the dispatch centers with all the election material and the EVMs. More than 3500 vehicles including 499 buses are available by the district administration to easily transport the polling personnel from the dispatch center to the polling center and from the polling center to the receiving center. Rajkumar Verma, Chief Inspector of the coaching cell set up at the Dhanbad Polytechnic campus, said that the coaching cell would take immediate action in case of any malfunction in the EVM.
He said that there are 19 booths where only women will be polling personnel and that all of them are also sent with EVMs and election material. There are 2539 booth numbers in Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency and the total booth number in Dhanbad district is 2378, which also includes Tundi and Baghmara. And Bokaro 588 is the booth number of Chandan Kiari 297. The total number of voters in Dhanbad Lok Sabha is 2285000 who will vote on 25 May.
