The Best Blood Donation Group of Samaj Chaibasa provides blood to all needy patients without any discrimination. Lalu Kujur, chief of Barkandaj Toli Oraon Samaj, had formed the Oraon Samaj Blood Donation Group in 2020 due to the growing shortage of blood in the Chaibasa Blood Bank. He formed a group of some local youth and began the work of providing blood to needy patients. At present this family of blood donation groups has taken a huge form. Now, 300 young people not only from the Oraon community but also from other communities of different blood groups are included in the blood donation group of the Oraon community. Taking calls, this group donates blood to needy patients not only in Chaibasa but also in Jamshedpur and Ranchi. As soon as the call is received, members of the patient’s blood group reach the hospitals to donate blood to save the patients’ lives in all adverse situations. Only the call is late. The group’s blood donors reach the hospitals without any delay. This group is able to provide blood to more than one patient in a day. This blood donation group has its own identity in Chaibasa. Lalu Kujur, head of the Oraon community, works as a railway gangman in Singhpokharia. Lalu Kujur is now known as the blood man in the area. Founder Lalu Kujur has a special identity not only among Oraon community but also among all communities. Blood Man Lalu Kujur said there is no greater service than donating blood. In view of the increasing shortage of blood in the area, he had decided to form a blood donation group. Three years have passed since the group was formed. During these three years, the group has so far donated 750 units of blood to needy patients. Lalu Kujur said that for this he has been honored by the Oraon community.
