The mother station at Transport Nagar will also be operational by December. Construction work is underway there. With its order, gas supply will be easy at CNG stations in the eastern region. At present, apart from Bailey Road, Fraser Road, Bypass, Phulwari, CNG is supplied by tanker from Naubatpur mother station to other stations.
One lakh kg CNG is consumed daily
There are more than 30 thousand CNG vehicles in Patna. There are more than 7 thousand cars and 200 buses including taxis. Currently, one kilogram of CNG is consumed daily. So many deliveries are also made. But the number of CNG vehicles is increasing rapidly. In such a situation it is necessary to enlarge the station. Currently, 22 CNG stations are operational in Patna including rural and urban areas.
