The Meteorological Department has today issued an orange warning of heat wave in several areas of Jharkhand. The parts of the state most at risk of heat wave include West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsanwa, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Pakur, Godda and Sahibganj. The Meteorological Department has appealed to be more careful in these areas. These 12 areas of the state have the highest risk of increased heat and heat waves.

At the same time, considering heat waves, a yellow warning was also issued in 6 areas.
