A T-20 cricket match competition on the lines of IPL under the name Madhya Pradesh League will now be played in Gwalior.

Currently the IPL (Indian Premier League) craze is at its peak in the country. With this, now MPL (Madhya Pradesh League) will be played on T-20 match basis in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. In which teams from Gwalior, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Malwa and Rewa from Madhya Pradesh will play. The names of these teams will be based on their names in order to make the general public aware of wildlife. This cricket competition is going to start in June 2024. This was stated by the Vice President of GDCA (Gwalior Region Cricket Association) and Chairman of the Governing Council Maha Aryaman Scindia while talking to the media. In MPL, which is being started on the lines of IPL, the Gwalior team will be called Gwalior Cheetahs, while Bhopal will play under the name Lleupards.
