The incident on the busy Glasgow Road prompted a police response Achi-News

Glasgow City Council said the westbound carriageway of the A814 Clydeside Motorway to Finnieston Street had to be closed due to a police incident shortly after 6.45pm on Saturday, April 21.

The road was reopened shortly after 19:45.

It is currently unclear why the road was closed, however, Police Scotland has been contacted to respond.

During the situation, a diversion was established for drivers.
