The woman started living elsewhere with her two children. When Sumit went to meet her, her children did not allow him to meet her. He was left unsettled by this. Upon receiving information about a suicide, the Canton Police arrived at his home. The police established a route and started investigating the matter. On Thursday, his body was brought to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Sopra. Sumit used to work in a private company in Ambikpur. His wife works in Bhilai. Sumit and his wife lived separately for three years. Two years ago, Sumit filed for divorce from his wife, while Sumit’s wife did not want to divorce him.
