The voters of Giridih Lok Sabha constituency showed full enthusiasm while voting this time. Even in the scorching heat and scorching heat, voters came out of their homes and stood in long queues at polling stations to exercise their franchise. This is the reason that the highest polling in the sixth phase took place in the Giridih Lok Sabha constituency among the four Lok Sabha constituencies of Jharkhand. The voting until 5 pm was 68.75% which could cross 75% in the final report. With the vote, the fate of 16 candidates was sealed in the EVMs that will open on June 4. The highest turnout was 68.19% in Dumri Assembly, the most Naxal-affected district in Giridih Lok Sabha constituency.

Let us tell you that most of Pirtand and Dumri booths under Giridih Lok Sabha constituency are Naxal affected. Where holding peaceful and safe elections was a challenge for the administration, therefore a large number of security forces were used in this area. Centralized security forces were deployed in every nook and cranny. Elections were held here under the shadow of bayonets. 54 P+1 voting parties from the Giridih assembly constituency will leave the cluster on Sunday morning due to security reasons. Specially trained security forces were deployed along with the Central Security Forces, who were ready to deal with all situations. Thus, people voted openly and the voting percentage was 68.19% in Dumri assembly constituency.

Bhaskar News Polling remained closed for about an hour at booth number 173 of Umvi Shankardih block of Dumri due to the start of polling without removing the fake vote. Reportedly, during the fake poll, a total of 52 fake polls were conducted on sixteen other buttons including NOTA, but by mistake the polling started without removing the fake poll. On information, Dumri SDM Shahzad Parvez and SDPO Sumeet Prasad reached the spot. He tried to convince the polling agents and the voters.

The SDM later ensured that the 52 votes cast in the fake vote would not be counted, only then could the voting resume. Apart from this, due to malfunction in EVM and VVPAT in many polling centers in the block, voting could not start on time. According to the information, VVPAT was damaged during the mock poll in booth number 4 of Pradhandih Primary School, which was replaced in time.

While in booth number 87 of MVI Jamtara, booth number 128 of UMVI Teliatunda, booth number 310 of Bhendra High School, booth number 158 of UMVI Phuchongari and booth number 203 of UMVI Penk, voting was delayed for 10 to 20 minutes due to a technical glitch in VVPAT . Voting resumed in these centers after changing the VVPAT.
