Lahore (News Desk) The government has decided to ban the export of chicks to stabilize the rising prices of chickens.
According to sources, if the ban on export of chicks is approved, it can significantly reduce chicken prices by Rs 200. After Eid, chicken prices in many parts of the country reached Rs 780 per kg. 100% created huge volatility in the market .
On the other hand, Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf said that the increase in the current prices of poultry is due to demand and supply. The cost of poultry business and the cost of doing business has seen an increase because the market is in crisis.
He said that the current crisis has affected many people in the business, small businesses because many people have closed their sets, adding that the poultry business in all the four states is suffering from the current economic crisis.
