The first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is going on today (April 19). Phase 1 voting is underway today in 102 constituencies across 21 states and Union Territories (UTs), according to the Election Commission (EC). Voting for phase 1 will take place between 7 am and 5 pm.
States and Union Territories where the first phase of the elections will be held
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jammuks and Kashpezp Puducherry Elections will be are held in 21 states.
To cast your vote in Phase 1 of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, voters must have their voter ID card. A voter ID card is not required to vote as such.

– Passport
– Aadhaar card
– PAN card
-Driving License
MNREGA cards, Central and State Government employee ID cards and pension cards with photo are also considered valid for voting at polling booths.

– Go to https://voters.eci.gov.in/ and click on “Search Electoral Roll” on the top right
-Enter your state and select the language in the form shown on the screen
– Add your first and last name; Include your relative’s first and last name
-Add your date of birth and gender
-Select your area and assembly constituency; Enter the captcha code
– Then press the search button
-If your name is included on the electoral register, you will see it.
