For Nevada farmers, dozens of culverts and bridges have been shut down after the East Canal, which originates from the Sakary River’s furrow, was damaged. After that, the farmers of the area began to worry that the canal water would not reach their fields.

.

Farmers Pappu Singh, Pramod Singh, Manoj Kumar, Naveen Singh of Makanpur village, Indradev Mahato of Basuchak, Tanik Raut etc. said that more than a month and a half has passed since the silt was removed from the canal.

The growing concern of farmers

Even after that, during the inflating of the canal by the sensor, the pine trees growing on both banks, from the small bridge of Tadua and the bridge, were completely covered. Because of this, even after water enters the canal, the water will not be able to reach the fields. Farmers are very concerned about this matter.

Farmers say that if turns etc. are not repaired before the rains, then irrigation of our fields will not be possible. Let us tell you that a month and a half ago, the silt and the huge bronze bushes that filled the eastern Faure Canal were removed using a hydro machine.

However, the sensor determined that there were many irregularities during the drift removal. The main factor that caused shielding to build up in the canal was Kanesh’s dust. During the blowing, the roots of the tree were covered with soil from the machine and in the trench itself.

Officials are busy with elections

Due to this, Kanesh’s root began to grow again and take a dense form. According to the farmers of Makanpur village, after one rain the canal will again return to its old shape and will be filled with Kansh bushes. Because of this, the canal will soon be filled with silt again.

However, the blasting work of the first section of the canal from Paura to Chandipur Falls is yet to be completed. It is said that there is a plan to extend the canal only up to the border of Nawada district (Bajidpur). The canal was blown up.

Through this canal, from Paura to Maor village in Barbiga, the rain-fed red water of river Sakri will reach the farmers’ fields of more than a hundred villages of four blocks of Navada, Varisliganj of Navada, Katrisrai of Manlanda and Sakpursarai of Sheikhpura and Barbiga. blocks.

Pramod Singh, Pappu Singh, Birbal Raut, Karu Singh, Madan Singh, farmers from the village of Kanpur and Kishore Singh, Pontosh Singh, Sharwan Singh, Lalit Ram, Mahesh Singh from Chandipur and other villages in the area say that blowing the silt in the canal area has a lot of happiness among the farmers of the villages who enjoyed it.

But, the pine trees and the various cedar trees coming out of the canal were covered with earth. It is still not fixed. This is a matter of concern for farmers. Meanwhile, the senior engineer of the canal department, Arun Kumar Sinha said that the blasting of the second part of the canal is currently underway.

Officials are busy with elections. After the explosion is over, repair work will be carried out on all the pine trees, reed trees and bushes covered in soil. The work will be completed by June 29.
