Bori police in Alirajpur district on Monday arrested a criminal who was carrying a reward of Rs 30,000 with a country-made pistol.

SDOP Neeraj Namdev said that to curb the ongoing incidents, RR Barole in-charge of police station checked the vehicles on Monday. During this, the informant said that a person riding a black bike had a country-made 12-bore pistol.
Based on information, in charge of RR Barole police station, Sauni Dinesh Hada, constables Vishal, Pradeep, Arjun started vehicle inspection at Tanda Road Semalpati village. During this period, a person was seen coming from Tanda on the back of a black bicycle, when he was stopped and searched, a 12 bore iron country pistol and live cartridges were found in his pants pocket.
The accused was not found to have a weapons licence. After this the police registered a case under the Arms Act and arrested him. The accused said during interrogation that he was also involved in the incident of crime number 52/23 section 392 IPC from Bori police station. In which he was absconding and the police had also kept a reward of Rs 10,000 on his arrest.
During strict questioning of the accused, he also admitted that he escaped after committing the crime at Bagh and Kanwan police station in Dhar district. A total of 10 offenses have been registered against the accused.
