The body of a teenage girl was found hanging from a rosewood tree only 500 meters from her home in Motihari. After receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and sent the body for a post-mortem. The incident took place near Gaibandhi Math of Panhera Police Station area.

The deceased has been identified as 16 year old late Dev Nanand Ram of Gaibandhi village.
