The country is marching towards autocracy – Thackeray

Thackeray claimed that the country was moving towards autocracy. Addressing the Indian Alliance rally at Ramlia Maidan in Delhi, Thackeray targeted the BJP. He said that we came here not for an election campaign but to save democracy.

‘My two sisters are fighting, why should my brother be left behind?’

Thackeray raised the issue of the arrest of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Thackeray told Hemant Soren’s wife Kalpana Soren and Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal that when my two sisters are fighting, how can this brother stay behind? So we are here for our sisters Kalpana ji and Sunita ji. Let us tell you that both Kejriwal and Soran have been arrested by the central agencies in various corruption cases. He said that the BJP government thinks that the arrest of Hemant Soren and Kejriwal will scare people but they don’t know Indians. We are not afraid people.

This appeal was made to the people

The former Maharashtra chief minister accused the BJP of misusing the ED, CBI and the Income Tax department and said all the three agencies should declare that they are allies of the BJP. He said I want to appeal to the people of the state to oust BJP from power. According to Thackeray, the government of only one party proves to be fatal for the country. He said that we must bring such an alliance that respects all countries.
