The court on Monday sentenced Tarakshwar Singh, a two-time MLA from Sharak, to life imprisonment in a 28-year-old case of kidnapping and murder. The special MP-MLA court also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on him. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to face In an additional sentence of six months, Tarakshwar Singh was not brought to court for health reasons. Earlier, the MP-MLA court declared him guilty on April 29 -January 10, 1996, Strughan Bhagat was murdered at Panapur OP in Mashreq police station area.

Under this, 7 people were nominated, including the then MLA, Tarakeshwar Singh.
