Dozens of the villagers also submitted written inquiries and complaints to the local public representative. In the application, the villagers said that the water level dropped considerably during the summer season. The situation is such that even the hand pump and the well have gone dry. To get water one has to walk about two kilometers to the banks of Ganga. Due to the decrease in the water level of the river Ganga, the distance has increased further, due to which many problems have to be faced.
