Senior BJP leader and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP National President JP Nadda are on a tour of Tamil Nadu. Both the leaders held rallies in support of NDA candidates in different cities. During this, Singh took a dig at the ruling party and asked what else the DMK was doing in the country apart from promoting nepotism and corruption. At the same time, the national president said that DMK stands for fraud and dynasty.
Addressing an election rally in support of NDA candidate C Narasimhan in Krishnagiri, Union Minister Rajnath Singh said the DMK has failed to make its administration corruption-free. The DMK and its ally Congress have only one aim – to gain power at the centre. He said I want to ask DMK what they have given to the state. While BJP’s policy is country first, DMK’s policy is family first.
I will always respect Jayalalitha
At the rally, Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was inspired by great leaders like C Rajagopalachari, K Kamaraj and MG Ramachandran in terms of social welfare and honesty in politics. I always have respect for former Chief Minister Jayalalitha because of the way she worked for the poor and served the people.
