What’s wrong?

A Swiggy customer ordered an ice cream using the Swiggy app in January 2023. The name of this ice cream is Nutty Death by Chocolate and its price is 187 rupees. But the Swiggy company did not deliver the ice cream to the customer. It showed that the ice cream was delivered in the app only. So the consumer went to court.

According to the complaint, the delivery agent took the ice cream from the ice cream shop but did not deliver it. But it started showing up in the app as submitted undelivered. The complainant has shared the issue with Swiggy and the app has not given any refund on the same. After this, the complainant approached the consumer court.
