A joint team of the Surguja Police and the Minerals Department conducted raids over two days on March 29 and 30 in 6 coal depots operated in Batwahi and Silsila villages. During the investigation, irregularities were found in the established norms and storage in the coal warehouse. The coal inventory register is also missing. The Department of Minerals issued a notice to operators.
