Bengaluru: SSLC Annual-1 Exam for 2023/24 will start tomorrow. The education department has made all the preparations for the examination across the province. The SSLC exam will be held in 2,750 centers tomorrow. A total of 8,69,968 students have registered for the exam. Out of the total enrollments there are 8,10,368 regular school students.
Exam from tomorrow
18,225 private students have registered for the exam. Another 41,375 repeat students have registered for the exam. This time 5,424 differently abled students have registered for the exam, 4,41,910 boys and 4,28,058 girls are writing the exam.
Mobile ban
Students are allowed to write the exam in a total of seven mediums including Kannada, English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Urdu and Marathi. Mobile phones are compulsorily prohibited for examination officers, staff and examiners in the examination centres.

Excluded area
200 mts around the centres. The area has been declared a restricted area. All examination centers are provided with necessary police security. CCTV cameras have been installed in all examination centres. Examination irregularities are monitored through CCTV cameras. The officers of the group of Directors and Co-Directors have been appointed Area Superintending Officers. Officers at various levels of the department have been appointed as State Vigilance Officers for the examination centres.

Heating system
Heating arrangements are made in SSLC examination centers so that there is no disruption to the examination process. Preparations have been made for the distribution of afternoon snacks to all students appearing for the SSLC Annual Public Examination.
