The situation of women in Afghanistan is critical

The report assessed the status of women on the basis of a number of basic services such as workplace mobility, wages, property rights, motherhood rights, entrepreneurship, investments, child care, security, marriage and retirement rights. According to the Khaama Press report, Afghanistan received 20 points out of 100 for legal framework and 13.3 points out of 100 for policy making. Belgium, Denmark and Canada ranked highest on the list.

Almost 90 restrictions on women in Afghanistan
