Voting for the Lok Sabha elections in Sonipat, Haryana was completed peacefully today (May 25). According to the data received till 7 pm (which is not final), there was 61.9 percent voting in Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency. However, the final figures have not come from the administration yet.

Although voting in Sonipat was conducted completely peacefully, there was also a tragic incident. Because of this Virendra, who was on election duty in Sersa, died of a heart attack. There are a total of 17 lakh 77 thousand 08 voters in Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency. The final figures of how many votes have been cast will be released by the Electoral Commission.
The fate of 22 candidates in the Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency has been sealed in EVMs. Now only when counting votes on June 4, it will be known who got how many votes and who will become an MP. A total of 1846 elections have been created for the voters. Of these, 1260 polling stations were in Sonipat and 586 in Jind district. In Sonipat district, 522 booths at 162 locations have been identified as sensitive. A total of 5 thousand soldiers are deployed for security.
BJP’s Mohanlal Badoli, Congress’s Satpal Brahmachari, INLD’s Anoop Dahiya and JJP’s Bhupendra Malik are trying to win the Sonipat Lok Sabha seat.
