Smoking has again become a fashion statement among many people.

I wish they had witnessed the harm and damage smoking caused in the 1960s and 1970s, and the large numbers who suffered from smoking-related health problems.

They used to say that if you don’t learn from history you are doomed to repeat its mistakes.

I have never spoken to anyone who smoked who was satisfied that they ever started the dirty, dirty habit and has not regretted it since.
