On the evening of the polling day in Sirsa, Congress leader Naveen Kedia and his son Naman Kedia had arrived outside the polling booth at Jain School on the complaint of distribution of money. An argument broke out between Avantika Tanwar, wife of Dr Ashok Tanwar, who was already there. When the conflict escalated, one side attacked with bricks and stones. In this stone pelting, the glass of the Congress leader’s car was broken. Naman and other supporters sat in the car and reached Naveen Kedia’s office at Laxman Das Arora street in Rodi Bazaar. It is said that Avantika Tanwar and other fans also came here later. Congress leaders alleged that Avantika Tanwar’s supporters entered Naveen Kedia’s office and attacked him. SP arrived after receiving information
After receiving information about the incident, SP Vikrant Bhushan, ASP Deepti Garg reached Rodi Bazar along with heavy police force. During this period, Adikarta Tanwar, son of BJP candidate Tanwar, was in the post of Congress leader. SP Vikrant Bhushan took the police with him and got Adikarta out of the office. During this, Congress leader Naveen Kedia and his supporters tried to give chase but were stopped by the police. SP formed a special investigation team
Meanwhile, SP Vikrant Bhushan says the police arrived on Saturday to investigate the clash between supporters of Congress candidate Kumari Selja and BJP candidate Ashok Tanwar.
