- Singhbhum Political Equation Changed After Geeta Koda Gets Ticket From BJP, Now Waiting For Alliance Candidate Announcement.

Singhbhum parliamentary constituency is the only seat in Kolhan won by Congress candidate Geeta Koda in the 2019 elections. But, this time the equation has changed in the Lok Sabha elections. Geeta has now joined the BJP and the party has made her its candidate from Singhbhum. In such a situation, JMM will now field a candidate from the Indian alliance on the Congress seat. However, no announcement has been made yet by JMM. The Singhbhum Lok Sabha constituency consists of six reserved assembly constituencies, namely Seraikela, Chaibasa, Mazgaon, Chakradharpur, Maneharpur and Jagannathpur. All six assembly constituencies are ruled by the Indian alliance. Jagannathpur is held by Congress and the other five by JMM.
