Simcoe County is no longer under a tornado warning Achi-News

Environment Canada has lifted a Tornado warning for Simcoe County.

The warning was issued to residents on Wednesday just after 9:15pm

The areas most likely to be at risk are Barrie, Orillia, Newmarket and Orangeville.

Residents were asked to take shelter as the weather changed.

Environment Canada is warning residents to monitor changing weather conditions.
