As the Lok Sabha election dates draw closer, the war of words between all political parties has intensified. Meanwhile, a war of words has begun between Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the allegation that the Center is not releasing drought relief funds to Karnataka.

Referring to the Central Government, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the Center has cheated us by not releasing drought relief funds. During this he accused the Center of doing injustice. Whereas Amit Shah made serious allegations about the delay on the part of the state Congress government in sending the proposal for relief.

Congress government is not in the interest of Karnataka-Amit Shah

Reacting to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s allegations, Amit Shah said that the government in power in Karnataka is not working for development. The Sgt of the State is busy saving his seat, while the Deputy Prime Minister is busy stealing the chair. No one is considering the welfare of the people of Karnataka.

Siddaramaiah government delayed in sending the proposal – Amit Shah

Amit Shah addressed the BJP workers and leaders in Bengaluru and said that there is a drought in Karnataka. The state government delayed sending the proposal to the central government by three months. The Congress government is doing politics on it. Karnataka has declared 223 taluks out of 240 as drought-affected, of which 196 have been classified as severe drought-affected.

Earlier today in Mysore, Siddaramaiah claimed that Amit Shah had no moral right to seek votes from the voters of Karnataka, as he accused the central government of betraying and doing injustice to the people of the state on the issue. Especially the delay in releasing drought aid funds.
