Toronto police are investigating a shooting that happened outside the Hedrick’s Bridle Path estate early Tuesday morning, a source tells CP24.
One man was seriously injured by the shooting and was taken to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
Police and patrol cars could be seen outside the rap star’s home near Park Lane Circle and Post Road. Emergency crews were called to the area around 2:09 a.m. for a report of a shooting. A suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, but there is no description at this time, the police said.
The shooting comes amid an escalating rap beef with Los Angeles rapper Kendrick Lamar. Drake offered to cooperate with investigators, the source said.
