AHMEDABAD: A clash broke out between two groups in the Gujarat city of Ahmadabad because their names were not published in the local temple festival booklet. An 80-year-old woman died (Women Died) in this conflict. Four others were injured. The police, who got information about the incident, have registered a case and are investigating. A group attacked another group with sticks and stones in Vastrapur area of ​​the city on Wednesday night, police said.

The conflict arose over issues related to the ongoing work of rebuilding the temple and differences over the omission of names from the invitation list. A group felt that some names should be included in the festival brochures from local temples. According to the police, the disagreement over the matter led to a conflict between the two parties.

FIR against 21 people
The police identified the attackers from both sides and registered an FIR against 21 people. Vastrapur Police Inspector LL Chawda said that efforts are underway to nab him. Two groups from Vastrapur area clashed and threw stones at each other to publish names in the temple festival booklet.
Seven people have been named in the FIR registered under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police have registered a case against three unidentified persons on charges of murder, attempt to murder, rioting, unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct and causing voluntary harm.
