The county police say they are urgently appealing for information and sightings of 43-year-old Jamie Henby from Sutton-in-Craven.
The police spokesman said: “Concerns about his well-being arose at 18:30 today (May 22) and urgent inquiries are ongoing to locate him.
“These are supported by British Transport Police.
“Jamie is described as white, 5ft 8cm, with long dark brown hair that is shaved on the sides. At this point it is not known what he is wearing.
“If you have seen Jamie or anyone matching his description or picture, please call North Yorkshire Police immediately on 999 quoting reference number 12240090129.”
