In Muzaffarnagar, the court has granted bail to the servant who murdered a retired JE of Energy Corporation, stole money from the cupboard and escaped after nine years under the Arms Act. However, the person accused in the murder case has already been granted bail by the High Court.

JE Omveer, son of Energy Corporation, who lives in Mehalki village in Jansath police station area, was employed as a servant to help with farming work in Khachedu village. It was alleged that on the night of July 26, 2015, the servant hit Omveer on the head with a rod and stole Rs 15,000 kept in the cupboard and ran away. Omveer Singh was taken to Anand Hospital, Meerut in a critical condition. Where he died after 20 days of treatment.

The third brother of the deceased Baleshwar had filed a case of murder and robbery against the accused servant Ranjit. When the police investigated the case, it emerged that the accused of Omveer’s murder was Moin Ali, son of Khurshid, a resident of Veediya village, Bohat Chauriyali police station, Kamrup district, Assam. Who was working as Ranjeet instead of Ombir. Two months after the incident, ie on September 5, 2015, the police had caught the accused Moin Ali from Khatauli intersection.

A pistol, a tablet and a mobile phone etc. were found in the possession of the accused. Baleshwar said Moin Ali has been kept in jail since then. He had been granted bail by the High Court in the murder case, but an application for bail was filed in court under the Arms Act. That said, the court granted bail to Moin Ali after nine years.
