A serious collision in the Municipal Area of ​​Ranchland, Alta., has left Highway 22 impassable in both directions, Mounties said.
According to RCMP, the accident happened on Tuesday along Highway 22, about five kilometers north of Highway 520.
On Tuesday night, RCMP expected the road to remain closed for hours.
Mounties from Claresholm and Nanton are at the scene, as well as emergency crews.
No details have been provided regarding the number of vehicles involved in the accident, or injuries.
