Islamabad: After the voting time for 30 vacant seats in the country’s upper house, the results are in progress. The Election Commission has already issued the notice for the unopposed election of 18 candidates on the vacant seats of Balochistan and Punjab, and the voting for the remaining 30 seats is happening today in the National and Provincial Assembly.
In the Islamabad-based Technocrat seat, Muslim League (N) leader and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar secured 222 votes while his opponent Ansar Mehmood secured 81 votes. Rana Mehmood-ul-Hassan got 224 votes while the opposition candidate Farzand Ali Shah got 79 votes, a total of 310 votes were polled and 7 votes were rejected.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb won the technocrat seat in the Senate elections in Punjab by getting 128 votes. Muslim League (N) Mossadegh Malik won by getting 121 votes while Dr. could only get 106 votes. Yasmin Rashid got it.
Panjumal Bheel of the PPP was successful in the minority seat of the Senate, while Rubina Qaim Khani and Quratul Ain Marri of the PPP were elected in the women’s seat. Similarly, Sarmad Ali and Zameer Ghamro of the PPP were elected as parliamentarians. in the seat of the technocrat.
Faisal Vawda, an independent candidate for the general seat from Sindh, was also elected as a senator, while Aamir Chishti of MQM also won the general seat.
Kazim Ali Shah of the People’s Party, Masroor Ahsan, Nadeem Bhutto, Ashraf Ali Jatoi and Dost Ali Jaisar were elected as parliamentarians from Sindh on the general seat. According to the unofficial and unofficial results of Sindh, MQM and Azad were elected as parliamentarians from Sindh. While PPP got 10 seats.
