GUWAHATI: Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) has informed that results of some candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. In the notice, SEBA outlined the steps candidates must take to clear their results.
According to the notification, some candidates have received provisional admit cards or admit cards despite irregularities in their registration process for the HSLC examination, 2024. These candidates are required to apply along with their original registration card and admit card, duly attested by the school Principal or Headmistress, while Seven days from the date of declaration of the result, if necessary.

For candidates whose results were withheld for reasons that are not unusual in the registration, they must appear before the Examination Approval Committee, SEBA, for a personal hearing. They must bring an identification letter from their school principals, along with their original admit card and registration certificate, after seven days from the date of declaration of results. Failure to claim delayed results within four months will result in automatic cancellation.
The announcement also states that requests to correct transcripts with honors, with the exception of grades, must be submitted through the heads of the institutes concerned within thirty days from the date of the declaration of results.

All documents and applications related to avoided cases, as well as cases of non-receipt of tables, must be submitted to the SEBA reception desk, where a receipt will be issued. The results of such cases and corrected certificate sheets with honors will be received from the office of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam, within thirty days from the date of application, on presentation of a receipt from the committee and a letter of authority from the head. of the institute concerned.
Results withheld for other reasons will undergo a process of investigation and approval by the relevant committee of the board of directors.
