GUWAHATI: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has issued detailed instructions to candidates seeking to recheck their answer scripts and get scanned copies of their answer sheets and OMR with answer key for HSLC, 2024 examination.
Procedure for rechecking evaluated answer scripts:
• Applicants must apply through SEBA’s official website, sebaonline.org.
• They must click on the link "Apply for re-examination and scanned copy of scripts and OMR with answer key."
• Candidates must select the option for "Rechecking and scanned copy of answer scripts" and select the topics for which they want to review.
• The necessary information must be provided in the portal, and fees must be paid online.
• The fee for rechecking answer scripts and getting scanned copies (excluding OMR) is Rs. 400 per subject.
• Retesting includes resuming grades, evaluating unanswered questions and correcting any errors in grade entry.
• The results of the retest will be communicated to the candidates via SMS and email within 30 days.

Procedure for receiving scanned copies of OMR with answer key:
• Candidates can apply for scanned copies of OMR and answer keys through SEBA website.
• They should follow similar steps above and select the option for "Scanned copy of OMR and answer key."
• Candidates have to pay the required fee of Rs. 50 per subject.
• Scanned copies will be provided within 30 days of submitting the application.
General instructions:
• The application portal will be opened two days after the announcement of the results until May 7.
• Candidates must apply within 15 days of the opening of the portal.
• Offline applications will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will be rejected.
• Applicants must undertake not to share scanned copies for commercial purposes.
• SEBA will not be held responsible for delays beyond its control.

In addition, a separate process is outlined for receiving OMR sheets along with answer keys, with similar guidelines and commitments required from applicants. The procedure will be available on the SEBA website.
