The official Instagram handle of Sony TV teased the audience with a glimpse of the show by posting its promo.
Sony Entertainment Television is gearing up to present a new show called Pukaar, a gripping drama packed with feelings of love, loss and redemption. Set within the picturesque pink city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, this new show promises to transport viewers to a world of challenging narratives. Recently, Sony TV’s official Instagram handle teased the audience with a glimpse of the show by posting its promo, accompanied by the caption, “Kya Vedika samet paayegi apna bikhra hua parivaar? Dekhiye #Pukaar, jaldi hi sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par #PukaarOnSonyTV #NewShow.”

The promo shows us the poignant story of a mother and her two daughters, torn apart by malicious plots. However, their fates intertwine when Saraswati, Vadia and Koel find themselves united by unexpected twists of fate. The trio will join hands to navigate through unexpected challenges and confront the evil forces that have shattered their family bond.

The ensemble cast of Pokar boasts of a line-up of talented actors ready to bring their characters to life on screen. Leading the pack is Sayli Salunkhe, known for her role in Batein Kuch Ankahee Si opposite Mohit Mali. In the new venture, she takes on the female role opposite Abhishek Nigam, known for his prominent performances in the TV show Alibaba: Dastaan-E-Kabul and the 2019 film Panipat.
Joining Saili in playing her character’s sister is Anushka Marchand, who is known for her roles in various projects like Bombay Bejams, Chikku Ki Momi Door Ki and Main Hoon Afrijita, among others. In a recent interview with ETimes TV, when asked about her upcoming projects, Anushka shared, “There is something big that I will announce. I am a bit superstitious so I will announce it soon. By now many must have read about it, so a lot of me you will see soon”.
The star cast additionally includes Sumukhi Pendse, Vimarsh Roshan, Mishika Popat, Garima Vikrant Singh, Shweta Gautam who will be seen playing pivotal roles in the show.
Pukaar is scheduled to launch next month on Sony Entertainment Television. However, the channel did not reveal details about the specific time slot and launch date. With such a stellar cast and an intriguing storyline, Pokar promises to offer viewers an immersive experience into a unique world of emotions that will keep them engaged and invested throughout.
