Saudi Arabia has announced new restrictions for Haj pilgrims Achi-News

RIYADH (International Desk) Saudi Arabia has recently published new regulations regarding the issuance of Hajj visas, where it has been clarified that only travel to the cities of Jeddah, Madinah and Makkah is permitted under the visa.

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, this visa will act as an entry permit only for pilgrims participating in the Hajj in 2024.

The ministry stressed that the Hajj visa is not for work, residence or travel outside designated cities. Violation of such restrictions will result in non-participation in Hajj and exile in the future.

Hajj visas are valid only for the period of Hajj and the holders are not allowed to perform Umrah or take up any kind of employment during this period.

The Ministry has introduced electronic registration through the visa platform of the Ministry of External Affairs.
