Comedian and impersonator Shyam Rangeela has also attracted attention by contesting the elections. But he is fighting against Narendra Modi who has been serving as the Prime Minister for the last 10 years and has won 2 consecutive terms from Varanasi.
What is the reason for standing for election?
Shyam Rangeela has given a special reason for contesting the election. I am contesting this election on behalf of the people of Varanasi Constituency. He said he is taking part in the election row against Modi because he does not want to be elected unopposed without holding elections in Varanasi like constituencies like Surat and Indore. Mukesh Dalal from Surat constituency, Shankar Lalwani from Indore constituency were elected unopposed. It is significant that these two are BJP candidates.

Shyam Rangeela shared information about contesting the election through a video, “I have decided to contest the Varanasi election and I am moved by the love I am getting from all of you. “I will present my opinion to you soon through a video about my nomination and contesting the elections,” he said.
Before this, Rangeela said, “I am contesting from Varanasi. He had shared a sarcastic post about Surat and Indore constituencies saying that it is not known when he will withdraw the nomination papers. After the post went viral on social media, his followers appealed to him to fight against Modi.

Shyam Rangeela was born in 1994 in Manakteri Barani village in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan. Shyam Rangeela’s real name is Shyam Sunder. Having done an animation course earlier, Shyam Rangeela decided to move towards his favorite comedy, impersonation and standup comedy. After that in 2017, Shyam Rangeela rose to fame by mimicking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s voice on a platform called The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Shyam Rangeela became an overnight star as this video went viral on social media overnight. Shyam Rangi imitates the voice of not only Prime Minister Narendra Modi but Congress supremo Rahul Gandhi very well.

Voting is currently going on in 7 stages across the country and the election has already been completed in two stages. The third period of voting will take place on the 7th. The final phase of the elections will be held in Varanasi on June 1. The election results will be announced on June 4.
