Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on Monday that India also has security interests in investigating the plot to assassinate Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Panu. This statement by the foreign minister comes after the statement of America’s ambassador to India Eric Garci, in which Garci recently said that the involvement of a government official of another country in a conspiracy to kill a citizen of one country, there is something that cannot be accepted and that is the ‘red line’.

The foreign minister said – there is nothing to say at the moment

On Monday, when the media questioned Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar about this, he said: ‘We believe that our security interests are also related to the investigation of this matter.’ Regarding the American ambassador’s statement, he said that “the American ambassador will only say what his government thinks. Certain information was given to us regarding this matter, which we are investigating. Regarding the investigation of the matter, the foreign minister said that ‘whenever we have something to say, we will definitely say it. The investigation is still continues and we have nothing to disclose.

“Don’t be trapped by the misleading claims of agents”

On Indian citizens captured in the Ukraine war, the foreign minister said that India has taken this matter seriously with the Russian government. We are trying to get all the people safely to India. Last month, Indian foreign ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal also said that many Indians had been tricked into joining the Russian military. New Delhi took up the issue strongly with Moscow and demanded the return of all Indians. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also appealed to Indian citizens not to fall victim to the misleading claims of agents.
